The steel post and timber frame structure was Built. On A tight, sloping and rocky site in close proximity to the ocean which provided challenging site conditions. Interestingly Some of the steel uni-pier posts were even bolted directly to the natural rock without the need for traditional concrete footings.

The unique design to suit the available space on the block has enhanced the beauty of the build both internally and external. With high raked ceilings, a feature skylight, louvre windows, exposed hardwood timber posts and beams to the front deck create a high end result for this bespoke granny flat.

The project is a testament to our capability to produce high end quality results on challenging custom new build projects.
